Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Initiative
Program Objective
Youth Base Development Society (YBDS) is dedicated to strengthening community health and emergency preparedness through the Basic Life Support (BLS) Training Program. This initiative is designed to provide essential life-saving knowledge and practical emergency response skills.
In medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest, breathing failure, choking, trauma, or sudden collapse, immediate response within the first few minutes can save lives. The objective of this program is to equip youth, students, volunteers, and community members with the skills required to provide first response care.
The training focuses on CPR, rescue breathing, airway management, chest compressions, patient positioning, bleeding control, and emergency response protocols.
Scope & Target Group
The scope of this initiative includes school and college students, volunteers, event management teams, NGO workers, teachers, social welfare staff, and community groups.
The training program is highly beneficial for youth development and disaster response preparedness.
Training Modules
The modules include practical hands-on CPR sessions, emergency drills, real-life simulation cases, patient assessment, pulse and breathing check, and first aid response methods.
Participants are trained to recognize symptoms of cardiac arrest, unconsciousness, and respiratory emergencies.
Benefits & Long-Term Outcomes
The major benefit of this initiative is improved emergency response readiness at the community level. Participants gain confidence to respond effectively during medical emergencies.
The long-term outcome includes stronger community safety, improved health awareness, and enhanced life-saving response capabilities.
YBDS believes that training one individual in BLS skills can potentially help save multiple lives over time.
